Higher Level Teaching Assistant – SEN

A school we assist in Rotherham needs a Higher Level Teaching Assistant – SEN for some 121 work with a Y5 pupil who has ADHD, ASD and developmental delay. The school has funding in place for this role which is full time Monday to Friday and expected to be up until the summer.

The Higher Level Teaching Assistant we are seeking must be available to work full-time and be either based in Rotherham or be able to cover the Rotherham area. She/he also needs to be able to demonstrate previous experience working with SEN pupils, strong nurturing skills and have a calm and patient manner. For a candidate with the relevant qualification and skills this could be an immediate start, so an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the update service would be advantageous.
